2013 Africa Nations Cup: Ethiopia to face Benin in Preliminary Round 2
Malabo, Equatorial Guinea – The Ethiopian national soccer team aka “Walias†are drawn to play against Benin in the 2013 African Nations Cup Preliminary Round 2, according to a report posted on CAFOnline.com.ÂÂ
The Draw for the 2013 Orange Africa Cup of Nations was conducted on Friday by the sub-committee of the Africa Cup of Nations Organizing Committee here.ÂÂ
Procedures
47 engaged countries, South Africa Host country automatically qualified which makes 46 teams involved to qualify to the final tournament.
16 teams that qualified to CAN Orange 2012 will get an automatic bye from the first two rounds and enter directly in the final round of qualifiers that begins after CAN Orange 2012

Preliminary Round 1:
The lowest ranked 4 teams (Swaziland, Sao Tome, Seychelles, and Lesotho) will meet in first and second leg to qualify 2 teams.

Preliminary Round 2
2 qualified teams and 26 others making 28 countries will meet in first and second leg to qualify 14 teams.

FINAL ROUND
After CAN Orange 2012, the 16 teams that qualified to the CAN Orange 2012 and the 14 teams that qualified from Preliminary round 2 will meet in first and second leg formula to qualify 15 countries, and South Africa is qualified as host country.
The Final Round will be played in September and October 2012.
