Dedebit FC hires Yohannes Sahle as Head Coach
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Ethiopian Premier League side Dedebit FC has announced that it has hired former St. George and Ethiopian national soccer team player and Yohannes Sahle as the club’s new head coach.
Coach Sahle, who was in charge of the Ethiopian U-20 side at the time of the announcement, will replace Negussie Desta, who was fired after the team lost 3 consecutive matches
Dedebit FC, which won the EPL title two years ago, started the current season with victories over Woldiya Kenema, Adama Kenema and Wolayta Dicha and was seating on top of the league. The team then succumb to 3 consecutive defeats at the hands of Mekelakeya, Sidama Coffee and Ethiopian Coffee and was forced to relinquish its leadership role.
Dedebit is currently in 6th place after 6 matches but its striker Samuel Anumi leads the EPL’s goal scoring chart with 6 goals.
