St. George defeats EEPCO 2-0 to narrow the gap
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – St. George defeated current Ethiopia Premier League leader EEPCO 1-0 here today to close the gap between the top two sides to just 2 points with 3 matches in hand.
This was a massive win for the 8th time Ethiopian Premier League winner, who are now in a better position to take away the leadership from EEPCO, should they win or tie their 3 matches in hand.
The loss was only the second of the season for EEPCO.
The league will continue tomorrow with title holder Ethiopian Coffee taking on Dedebit FC here in Addis.
