Kidus Giorgis Drops Point, Hawassa Fumbles at Home
Addis Ababa – Fasil Kenema FC forced Ethiopian Premier League leaders Kidus Giorgis to a 1-1 draw here while Hawassa Kenema lost a golden opportunity to move up in the league table as they suffered a 1-0 loss at home to Dire Dawa Kenema.
It was the visitors who scored first in the Addis encounter. Abdurahman Mubarak gave his team the lead 23 minutes into the first half and it was not until the 40th minute that Kidus Giorgis got its equalizer courtesy of Mulu-Alem Mesfin.
Meanwhile in Hawassa, the visitors stunned the hosts with a 3rd minute goal by Genanaw Regassa.
