Ethiopian Premier League: Week 1

Welwalo Adigrat started the new season with a 3-1 away victory over home side Sebeta City; Hawassa City and Mekele 70 Enderta defeated their opponents Dire Dawa City and Hadia Hossana with similar 2-1 wins and Wolaita Dicha beat the visiting Sidama Bunna side 2-0. 

Two other games featuring Adama City vs Fasil Kenema and Wolkite City vs Kidus Giorgis ended in identical scoreless ties. 

The league will continue tomorrow with Jimma Abba Jifar taking on Bahir Dar City while Sehul Shire will host Ethiopian Coffee.
