DSTv to provide live broadcast of Ethiopian Premier League

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – DSTv has won the right to broadcast live football matches of the upcoming Ethiopian Premier League matches, according to a report published on SoccerEthiopia.net here today.

The league organizer, Ethiopian Premier League Share Company, invited companies to submit their bids. Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC), DSTv and France-based Canal+ were amongst those who submitted their bids.

With rights to South African Premier League Soccer League, Ghana and Zambia Premier League, Ethiopia is said to be the latest coup after beating French giants Canal+ with a lucrative offer.

DSTv is part of MultiChoice, which also owns GOtv, M-Net and SuperSport.
