Ethiopia Premier League: Dedebit FC beat St. George 3-1
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Dedebit FC defeated St. George 3-1 here today to cut down the lead to just one point, although the latter has still one match in hand.
This marked the second defeat of the season for St. George in 20 matches following their 1-0 loss to Dire Dawa City in the 3rd week of first round back in December 13, 2011.
Meanwhile, EEPCO kept the pressure on Dedebit, whom they’re going to face this Saturday, with a 2-0 victory over bottom of the league Ethiopian Air Force in Bishoftu.
In other matches, Mugher Cement beat Sidama Coffee 2-1; Harar Brewery and Adama City played to a scoreless draw; Ethiopian Coffee squeezed by Dire Dawa City (3-2); Hawassa City shared a point (1-1) with Defence Force and Arba Minch took home field advantage to score a 1-0 win over CBE.
