Ethiopian National Team defeats Lideta Nyala 2-1 in friendly match

Addis Ababa – The Ethiopian national team will face Madagascar in a Group B match of the 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifier in Antananarivo on Sunday. 

In preparation of this encounter, the Ethiopian team played a friendly match with Lideta Nyala, a newly promoted team to the Ethiopian Premier League, reported the Addis based weekly sports newspaper, Inter Sport. The Walias won 2-1 thanks to goals from Bedaso Hora (Mugher Cement) and Umed Ukuri (Defence Force). 

Ethiopia and Madagascar have faced each other in Olympic Games qualifiers before.
